What Best Buy wanted for Christmas was to be noticed for something more than its blue shirts. I think self-basting turkeys did nicely.

The strangest thing about concepting this campaign -- and writing and producing 14 retail spots (including six weeks shooting in LA, while my wife forgot my middle name and my child started referring to Elmo as "Dada") -- was that I wish I could do it all again.
