The Most Interesting Jam

We told our Facebook fans that the Most Interesting Man in the World was making jam again - and needed them to suggest ingredients. They gave us gold. Literally, gold. And grasshoppers. And something called Cuban Oregano. We eBay'd off a jar of the Most Interesting Jam for over $1,000 (!), with the proceeds going to a wildlife charity. We got 98 million media impressions. A bunch of hairy-nosed wombats got some sweet, sweet habitat (or whatever it is that wombats need).

		<description>Challenge:

UHaul is synonymous with DIY moving, but no one knows they also do self-storage. Their storage brand needs to be as simple and successful as their moving brand.

Unrelated Challenge:

Manhattanites pay through every orifice for self-storage. You need an extra closet for your manga? Got $300 a month? Meanwhile, an hour outside the City, people are sitting on empty wallets and huge, empty basements.

Idea:

Connect them, and re-shape Uhaul's business in the process.

Create a web-based self-storage marketplace called Basement Upstate.com. Think Manhattan Mini-Storage meets AirBNB. Upstate homeowners find City storage-needers to sublet their extra space. Gothamites who don't need to visit their old golf clubs every day get a great deal. UHaul brands it all, and handles transportation, insurance, storage-screening and escrow.

		<description>Challenge:

OnStar tracks and secures over 5 million GM cars. To grow beyond that market, it needs a reputation for tracking and emergency-response service independent of GM.

Idea:

GPSafe, a line of GPS-enabled underwear and undershirts designed to protect the tens of thousands of Alzheimer's and dementia sufferers who wander away from home every year. The garments are embedded with GPS tracking chips that are powered by the body heat of the patient. Once a patient goes missing, family can log-on to an online tracking app and find them as easily as a missing smartphone.

<description>Here's the thing: I'm the guy at the party who doesn't know anybody but the host. And the host is usually pretty busy. So I always end up talking to the other guy at the party who doesn't know anyone but the host. This works okay. I'm not complaining. The only thing is, it can take me 45 minutes or more to identify the other socially retarded person and strike up a sheepish conversation.

So, I made this shirt to speed up the process.

<description>Crunch Fitness wanted to offer people a teaser-membership at exactly moment they needed it the most.

So we created paper plates and bags that held secret coupons, coupons that could only be revealed by shameful amounts of dripped grease, and distributed them to small pizza shacks, fry bungalows and cheesesteakeries throughout New York, Miami and San Francisco.

(Because you're wondering, the mouth watering object in the third slide is a sausage, egg and cheese hoagie)
